Dear Sir,

My grandparents are from Batac Ilocos Norte and we have at least 25-30 hectares of land that we want to offer for on-farm trials or for what ever purpose you need for the production of sweet sorghum. I briefly read the potential of this crop and I believe if we can form a consortium from production to processing this crop will go a long way aside from its present usage.

I am very much willing to sit down with you and other lead persons who is spearheading this project under the MMSUniversity.

Hope I can get some response from you.I can be contacted in these numbers: 673-8-862404 or fax 673-2-656897 or email to nsantiago5888@gmail.com.

Truly yours,

Hello, I may have access to a used spray drying machine at my manufacturing facility here in the United States. I am interested in the idea of obtaining a low glycemic sugar (not syrup) from sweet sorghum. Perhaps Mr Archangel can contact me (cwool@onebox.com) to see if an arrangement can be made between my company and his university. I also have affiliations with Arizona State University. With my contacts there, we are establishing extension programs in Thailand and Cambodia for medicinal plant research and sustainable development.

If I can grow a certain variety of Sweet Sorghum, they may be a way for ASU to partner with MMSU. This variety, grown in the US, has particular medicinal value, and I will be curious to see if the raw, organic crystalline sugar extracted from it using the spray drying technique can transfer this property to the sugar.
