Spicy Chicken Wings
Here’s a new sizzling way to cook chicken.
Chicken is popular with children and adults alike. It is versatile and economical and can be cooked with variety of ingredients and flavors. It is low in fat and quick to cook with very little wastage.
Chicken can be bought in many forms: whole, quartered or cut into thighs, drumsticks, breast and wings, with or without bones and skin which makes preparation very easy.
Spicy chicken wings is one of the most popular recipes preferred by children that can be served with rice. One (1) kilogram chicken wings will give 8 – to pieces serving portions which could be (lone by carinderia operators and also for mothers to prepare for the “baon” of their children

Chicken wings (8-10 pcs.) 1 Kg.
Ingredients: Household measure:
Salt refined 1 tablespoon 12.00 gms
Phosphate 1 teaspoon 3.00 gms
Sugar, refined 1 tablespoon 10.00 gms
White pepper 2 teaspoon 4.00 gms
Red chili powder 3 teaspoon 6.00 gms
Nutmeg 2 teaspoon 1.20 gms
Sesame oil 2 tablespoon 20.00 gms
Vetsin (MSG) 1/2 teaspoon 1.50 gms
Meat enhancer 1/2 teaspoon 1.00 gms
Paprika 2 tablespoon 7.20 gms
Procedure :
1. Wash Meat. Drain. Chill.
2. Mix salt and phosphate (dissolve in 1/4 cup water) with the meat until it dries up- Add the remaining ingredients and mix till well blended.
3. Set aside in the refrigerator for 4 hours for the ingredients to be absorbed by the meat*
4. Roll in breadings and deep fat fry until golden brown in color. Serve hot with chicken sauce.
5. Uncooked spicy wings could be kept in the freezer for i month. Pack in polyethylene bags by 1/2 kg. per pack.
*Suggested breading before frying:
1. Ready mix breading or;
2. Prepare the followings:
cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tablespoon refined salt
1/4 teaspoon MSG
2 teaspoon white pepper
2 tablespoon paprika
3. Chicken wings will be very crispy if they are massaged individually in the above breadings and deep fat fried until brown.
4. Serve hot.
