Seacom and PhilFoodEx at Agrilink 2008
In its desire to diversify, Seacom, which has entered into partnership with other service-oriented companies, will feature its extensive and impressive line of products on its first-time participation in Agrilink.
This includes engine and power products such as the Mitsubishi Meiki Gasoline Engine, which has 4 to 16.5 horsepower engines and applications that are best for fishing, agriculture, construction and commercial uses; Powermak Diesel Engines, which are available at 7 hp and io and Mitsubishi and Denyo Generators.
Their renowned water heating systems will also be in feature. Water filtration and conditioning systems; water waste treatment systems; residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial water pumps; rice mills and accessories; storage and pressure tanks; environmental equipment such as garbage composters, shredders and separators; and the Sumisansui Irrigation System will also be in display.
Other products, such as shower heaters, solar heaters, heat pumps were launched after the year 2000. Seacom, will be actively pursuing products related to energy savings and the anti pollution fields.
PhilFoodEx will feature diverse food related companies-from salad dressings to dried fruit cocktail-in conjunction with Agrilink’s theme “Sustaining Agricultural Growth through Niche Markets”.
Hero Great Bites, fast-becoming famous in various trade fairs, will serve its usual sausages, tapa, tocino and hotdogs. Marventure Corporation, makers of Allmytea Iced Tea concentrate and ready-to-drink, will also be in attendance. Hi-Las Marketing Corp will be displaying fresh mangoes, dried mangoes, purees and okra. Fisher Farms, Inc., the renowned fish-related firm, will exhibit fish sausages, fish ham, fish bacon, fish luncheon and deboned bangus products.
On top of its regular banana chips, See’s Int’LManufacturing Corp will be adding dried fruit cocktail on its display. Marikina Food Corp. will be selling its Hobe Special Bihon, Takami Quick and Easy Bihon, and Hobe Express Instant Bihon. Meanwhile, Majestic Ham & Food Products will be serving bone-in-whole ham, ham bits, ham bone, ham in pandesal and beef tapa.
Mega Fishing Corporation, aside from their cooking demo, will be showcasing their new sardines products. Navarro Foods Int’l, will be tasting to the public its famous taba ng talangka, burong hipon and bagoong. Tita Marina’s Bangus Atbp will also display different bangus products.
Toscano Food Industry, with their crispy dilis and pusit, will also be present, while Billies Marketing will be retailing its dry food mixes and seasonings. Master J Food Products will also be selling the new laing and bicol express canned good and Gourmet Farms, Inc., will be grinding fresh brewed coffee, mixing green herbal tea, and their ready-to-go salad dressings.
PhilFoodEx is a non-stock, non-profit organization of small, medium and large-sized manufacturers and exporters, whose members are already 200 in number.

On October 9 to 11, Seacom and PhilFood Ex will be major attractions of the 15th Agrilink, alongside other niche marketing products as well as facilities on post harvest, feed ingredients, feed milling, fertilizers and pest management, among others.
